Being a "ZAZA"
School is
finally over and it’s time to say goodbye to my classmates and friends to go on
a new adventure this summer. It’s time to enjoy the sun, the music, the food
and everything. But I have to admit this summer will never be like the past
ones due to the special experience I’ve had this year in my school.
It was last
September when I decided to convince my parents that I will never succeed if I
study something I don’t like instead, I can do something much better and do it
with passion. Of course I’m talking about art; I was always a big fan of
colors and shapes, especially when it comes to adding my personal touch, when I
was about 4 years old I used to paint my toys with my mom’s nail polish. Persuading
my parents was easier than I thought because they always believed in the
choices I make but the hardest part was switching my school section but after a
month and a half I was able to start as a “ZAZA” like our CG (computer
graphics) teacher called it. The class contained a small number of students but
luckily I wasn't alone my friend from middle school was there and after a few
weeks I started getting to know others like Rahma, who was my first best friend
the cute little girl with the big ideas.
And being an art applied student wasn't easy like I thought it would be but
with the atmosphere that we created between us we were like a miniaturized society
or more like a family where each one helps the other so that nobody can feel
low.
For the
first time, it didn't feel like class or school was a prison it was more like a
second home where people can understand you and help you move on forward even
if sometimes we had some little fights but I would consider it normal. Like I
said before it wasn't easy being an AA student because it’s no longer about if
you can draw or not, this time it was about patience, hard work, good quality
and finishing your work in time.
As a "ZAZA" I have to admit that everything has gone to another level since I started my school year, the teachers are cooler, the friends I made they're all different but they complete me in a strange way, the studies are more interesting and challenging, even me I've been changed by this whole thing.Unfortunately, 9 months has passed by so fast
but they were full of memories, joyful and funny ones. I will spend this summer
looking forward to seeing them again next year and have more memories with them
for the next year.
