The movies I was inspired by

Hey guys, I hope your week was as good as mine.

First of all, I will stop promising you and myself as well to post daily, I think that is not possible since my schedule is so full and I am sorry. But once again, I am back to you with some new things like how fun my week was. I learned that my childish side still exists ( I think it's something to be proud of) because everyone knows that children can be more creative adults.

Anyway, I will tell you what is it about in my next post. Today I've decided to write about something different and that is the list of movies I was inspired by and that I will watch over and over again.

1. LA MOME (La Vie En Rose)

I was already a fan of Edith Piaf but this movie made me like her even more and inspired me, it also made me cry several times. The movie has some great songs performed by Jil Aigrot and original ones of course performed by Edith. Marion Cottillard did a good job for sure.

2. The Da Vinci Code

I was so into the character of Robert Langdon and the symbols that he explained (I am in love with all kind of symbols I even own a blog for school that's about symbols). Any way I am also obsessed with all things that are related to Leonardo Da Vinci and his inventions.

3.  Ali Zaoua: Prince of the Streets.

I was still a child when I saw this movie but I was choked yet fascinated. The fact is, as a kid everything seems flawless and harmless especially for a spoiled only child as me but this movie made me see the other side of the world, the suffering other kids are going through and how life can be cruel to some people. It also made me see that poverty and the environment these homeless boys were living in couldn't stop them from dreaming. It's a must see for everyone.

4. Pride and Prejudice

I have only seen 3 versions of the movie (including the indian version ) but my favorite is still this one starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. They fit in these roles perfectly, I have to admit that I have an eternal crush on Mr. Darcey, because he defines a normal man unlike the ones we find in other movies, he might be though on the outside but inside he is soft. I also liked the book.

5. Whatever Lola Wants

Besides the fact that I love belly dancing since I was little, this movie thought me that sometimes you have to choose between what you love to do and and the ones you love. Because people can leave at any moment, so you should choose what makes you happy for a long time instead. I also loved the music and the dances. Nabil Ayouch's movies are always pleasing to the eye and mind. (In case you didn't know he also directed Ali Zaoua).

6. Ghost World

This movie inspired me in so many ways, Enid Coleslaw was like a role model to me, because of her I decided to become an art student I loved her work and I started making a scrapbook each year and doodle in it anything that comes into my mind. I also learned that being becoming an adult is a hard step to take and that it's completely normal to feel lost for a while but at the end we should decide to move forward.

7. Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amelie Poulain

I couldn't find the words to start describing the movie or how I feel about it. This movie is funny, romantic and different for sure. I loved that they used the storytelling, the way the french society was visualized, the characters and of course Amelie and her retro aspect.

8. Breakfast at Tifanny's

This movie is more like a fashion inspiration to me, I loved every single look in it, I mean who does? Audrey Hepburn was the main reason I watched it in the first place and I didn't think I would like it this much. I loved the story and how a damaged woman like Holly managed to live a sophisticated life and stayed happy all the time depending on her charms and made everyone see her like that when in reality her past was really miserable and sad.

9. Pina

It's been a while since I've seen this movie in my graphic design history class, and it gave me chills. It's a documentary about the dancer and choreograph Pina Bausch. I liked every scene of it and I would watch it over and over again. If you like contemporary dance, this movie is defiantly for you.

10. My Little Princess

It's a touching story about a girl who was pushed by her mother who is a photograph that is craving fame to take daring pictures which will ruin her childhood and make other kids in her school hate her. I also loved the costumes and the make up.

My list doesn't stop here but I guess 10 movies will be enough maybe I will post the rest of the list later. Let me know what are your favorite movies and if you want me to post other movies that I was inspired by.

I hope you have a good week and I will try to post other articles soon.
